The run will start at 10:30am prompt.
Transport
Nearest BR station: – Hackbridge. Bus routes 151, 407, 410, 463 and X26.
Car Parking
There will be car parking available on the grass beside Church Road – marshals will direct you to the parking area. Please follow their directions. Please do not park on the local roads.
Registration
Your race number and race instructions will be emailed to you ahead of the race. Collection of your run number and Timing Chip will be at the event registration tent on the day of the event, and will be open from 9.00am. For all other entrants on the day, we strongly recommend you arrive there by 9:30. Go to the run HQ, tell them your name and you will be given an allocated number and safety pins. You will then have everything you need to run.
Disabled Athletes
Athletes with disabilities wishing to enter the event are advised to discuss their entry with Philip Graham-Clare, Race Secretary email sutton10K@suttonrunners.org or telephone 07801 208188. Entrants are advised that dogs, wheeled carriages and cycles are banned from the race.
Baggage
There will be an area where bags can be left, they will be watched but they are left at your own risk. You will be given a separate label containing your race number, which you will need to attach to your bag before depositing in the baggage area.
Course Details
The race will consist of 3 laps, passing through Beddington Park on tarmac paths and on the surrounding roads. The route will be clearly marked with kilometre markers and well marshalled. Please obey the marshal’s instructions – your safety is our prime concern.
Finish
The finish will be under the race clock gantry situated by the Pavilion. Please run through the finish and into the funnel as directed by the marshals. Mementoes will be handed out at the end of the funnel.
Refreshments
There will be refreshments at the 5k point and finish line.
First Aid
St Johns Ambulance will be in attendance on the day. If you have a problem please speak to a marshal.
Changing Facilities
Changing rooms with toilets will be available at the Pavilion, although it is always preferable to arrive ready changed. Please do not leave valuables in your baggage.
Disclaimer
All competitors enter and compete at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety. We discourage the use of personal stereos which can make it difficult to hear instructions from course marshals. The organisers have made every effort to ensure the event will pass off safely.
Prizes
Cash Prizes; Male, female & age related prizes; Team prizes (4 men to score & 3 women). Prize giving will be at approximately 12.30pm outside the Pavilion.
Results
All race results will be available on our website soon after the race: www.suttonrunners.org or by post – please fill in an envelope and leave £1 at the results desk. Please note, in order to assist with recording of results and finishing order, we intend to video runners as they finish. The video will be used for this purpose only and not passed to any other party.

Photos will be taken by Geoff (one of our club members) and be available for viewing on our website www.suttonrunners.org shortly after the event.
