Pace Calculator for Running, Jogging & Walking
Use this simple Pace Calculator to see just how fast, or long, your run, jog or walk was.
Q: How do I use the Pace Calculator?
A: Simple. All you need to know are two of the answers.
“TIME – DISTANCE – PACE”
PACE: If you have a watch and you know how long you were running, jogging or walking for and you know close to the distance you ran, then you can use this pace calculator. Simply set the Drop Down Menu to PACE. Enter the time in (h:m:s) Hours : Minutes : Seconds. Then enter the Distance in a decimal form (e.g. 1 1/2 miles = 1.5) Then hit the Calculate button.
TIME: Want to know how long it would take to finish a marathon, or a 5K, at the pace you have been running around the block? Select the drop down to “Time” and then enter your “Pace” and the “Distance”. Remember to change the distance radio button to “km” for your 5K and 10K events and hit Calculate.
DISTANCE: This can be used as a tool to help you figure and plan running days. Say you want to go run a new route and you know what your average pace is, and you know how long of a run you went out for. Simply select “Distance” from the drop down menu and supply the Time and Pace and hit the calculate button. You now know how many miles (or kilometers) you ran.
The calculator also allows you to work out split times should you wish.
