I am delighted to provide some dates for your diary over the coming months in order to counter-balance all of the hard training with some refuelling and relaxation with fellow athletes.
Friday 5th April – Collingwood Inter Club Quiz Night
Meet at 7:30pm for a 7:45pm start at Croygas Social Club in Wallington, SM6 9BY. Simple format of teams of up to six. Rounds will be a mixture of traditional verbal questions, paperfeeds and timed answers.
Entry is £3 each or £6 including a curry, including a vegetarian option. For further details click here
Friday 26th April – Marathon Runners Celebration Drink
I’ve reserved an area within All Bar One to celebrate the success of Sutton Runners taking part in the Brighton and London Marathons. All welcome!!
July (date TBC) – Picnic in Nonsuch Park
Come and join us in Nonsuch Park for a great opportunity to chill out and relax with fellow runners. Commences at 1pm and don’t forget to bring food and drink for a picnic. We usually partake in a game of rounders and other fun activities. Family and friends welcome!
Sunday 1st December – AGM Meeting
The first Sunday in December is the usual date for the AGM which in recent years has been held at the Robin Hood, Sutton. However we are having a change of venue this year; details to be confirmed.
December (date TBC) – Christmas Party, (venue TBC)
We are looking to find a great venue for all members to be able to enjoy a nice meal and dancing together to end the year on a high and celebrate Christmas.
